Kenya is the 16th largest coffee producer in the world by volume, and is recognised today as a prominent specialty coffee origin.  

This roast is bright,acidity, a rich, full body, and a distinctive flavour in the cup. If you have ever tried Kenyan specialty coffee, there’s a good chance that it came from an SL-series plant. 

SL stands for Scott Laboratories, which is the name of the Kenyan research centre that first developed these varieties in the 1930s. Our roast is made with SL28, SL34 along with Ruiru 11. 

Tasting Notes: Fruity, Well-Balanced, Bright Cup.

Growers: Small Farm Owners Organized into Local Cooperatives

Altitude: 1520-1690

Soil: Volcanic

Process: Fully Washed and Dried on Raised Beds.

Medium/Light Roast
