The beans are slowly immersed into a highly concentrated flavored oil. While the whole beans are still warm from the roaster, they are spun in a mixer very gently so that no damage is caused to the beans. Gradually, oils are added to the mixer, slowly coating the beans. This process can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes depending on flavor complexity and the size of the batch. What you’re left with after 30 minutes are glossy-looking beans, coated with your favorite fall flavor!
